ALL THE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW PRIOR TO BOOKING

booking policies

All the info you need to know about reschedules, types of tattoos I will not book, and day-of info . Info on my rates and methods of payment can be found in the FAQ section.

Please keep in mind I am generally forgiving when it comes to life happening and needing to reschedule your appointment. Things change day to day and I always want to be mindful of that - all I ask in return is mutual respect of my time as well.

RESCHEDULES:

  • If you have an appointment and need to reschedule for any reason, you need you provide me with at least 72 hours notice. Less than 72 hour notice results in forfeiture of your deposit - this is because I am unlikely to be able to fill your spot without a few days heads up.

  • I allow no more than 2 reschedules. Any further reschedules after that will require a new deposit to get back on my schedule. This is due to the fact that I am typically booked out 5 months or more, and have people waiting for sessions.

DEPOSITS:

  • Deposits are nonrefundable!

  • Deposits are $200-$300 for all appointments.

  • If you have opted into an All-Day or 2-Day session, information on the specifics of deposits will be sent to you at time of booking.

APPOINTMENTS:

  • A No-Call No-Show is an automatic forfeit of your deposit. I will require a new one for you to book again. More than one no-call-no-show will result in you no longer being able to book with me.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment and have not made a reasonable effort to contact me ( either via text, Instagram, or email) you will be counted as a no-show and your deposit will be forfeit. I will always reach out to the number you have provided if you are late.

  • If you are over 20 minutes late ( whether you have contacted me or not, I reserve the right to reschedule you.

Things I will not tattoo & Important notes for your visit

PLACEMENTS:

As a fairly new tattooer ( est 2019) there are still placements that I feel I am not ready to tackle, due to technical skill which I am currently working on. These are:

  • palms

  • bottom of feet

  • genitals

  • sides of fingers

The above may be placements I offer in the future, but as of now I am not. Placements I will not offer for the foreseeable future include: lips, eyelids, genital areas, bottom of feet.

SUBJECT MATTER:

I reserve the right to deny any tattoos that I feel may be culturally appropriative, gang-indicative or offensive (whether intentional or not). I will not tattoo fascist or racist symbols - if you ask me to, expect an appropriate response.

CULTURALLY SIGNIFICANT TATTOOS:

For my BIPOC clients, please keep in mind that I will 9 times out of 10 refer you out if you are looking for something relevant to your culture or heritage. What I mean by this is that , as a white artist, I don’t feel that I will be able to honor culturally important imagery the same way another artist that belongs to that culture could.

I do this out of respect for other cultures and my awareness that I cannot fully comprehend the nuance of culturally significant imagery.

However if you feel that I am 100% the right artist for you, please know that I will do my due diligence and educate myself as much as possible on the subject matter, the culture, and symbolism relevant to the tattoo.
