Custom Tattoo Process

  • Before you submit your inquiry

The most important part of beginning the process is having a clear idea of what you want. I can always help flesh out a basic idea, but I won’t decide what your tattoo will be for you. It’s a good idea to have subject matter, placement, sizing and scheduling in mind before filling out an inquiry form.

Please avoid including too much personal information in your inquiry. I am always happy to take on a memorial tattoo or scar coverup, but I need to have healthy boundaries for my mental health when it comes to more emotionally charged work.

  • After you submit your inquiry...

I go through all inquiries in the order in which they are received.

Please be patient in our response, as I usually get around 50 inquiries within the first day or two. I don’t take on every idea, but I will contact you either way.

I generally take between 5-7 business days to get through the first round, so please be patience and don’t give up hope!

Do not send me a follow up DM or email asking if I got your inquiry.

  • Consultations & Booking

After your idea has been accepted/reviewed, I will let you know how many sessions I estimate you’ll need for your project, and send you a few date options ( one for the initial tattoo appointment, and one for the consultation). Consultations happen either in person, or over the phone about a month prior to the initial tattoo appointment.

Once you have confirmed the dates for both the tattoo and the consultation, I will send you an invoice to pay your deposit*. Then you’re all set!

If you opt in for an All-Day or 2-Day session, further instructions will be given at the time of booking!

*please be ready to put down a deposit when you submit your inquiry. I will not hold a date if you are unable to submit your deposit within 48 hours of receiving your invoice.

Custom Tatt00 FAQs

  • August - October 2024

    • high contrast Black and Gray with bold white or single color elements

    • Color with neon elements!

    • Animals

    • Mythical creatures

    • Crying Plants

    • Large pieces with blackout backgrounds

    • Freehanded things! I love doing freehands :)

    • Shiny Things - weaponry, armor, trinkets

    • Person faces ( think “lady head” but gender neutral lol)

  • If you follow me, you should know what my work typically looks like. I tend not to deviate too much from strongly outlined and well-rendered pieces, but just in case, this is my breakup-list:

    • “No /light shading”

    • “Only linework”

    • “Scientific illustration”

    • Anything smaller than 6”x6” - I work very quickly and my minimum time is 2 hours.

  • I am all for having a particular aesthetic you are going for - however I only can tattoo things in my stye and ask my clients to give me as much creative freedom as they can. This results in a much better tattoo experience on both sides!

If there is a particular tattoo style you like that is not reflected in my current portfolio, you can always ask me. I’ve been known to take on an American Traditional piece here and there but for the most part there are artists here in Seattle and elsewhere that are much more skilled than I am in other styles! I have a list of people I refer out to that are safe, respected, and rad humans!

  • I do, but on a case-by-case basis! I absolutely love coverups and appreciate the challenge, but I will always be 100% honest as to whether my skill level matches what’s needed, or if laser is needed beforehand.

  • No. I build in plenty of time at the beginning of your appointment to go over the design and make any necessary changes.

If you opt into an All-day or 2-day session, then you will get access to sketches, my thought process, and an additional consultation, so this is a great option for larger pieces!

  • I do my best to post updates on where I’m at in booking/replying to people on my socials - so please keep an eye out there!

Please keep in mind this is for tattoos I have done only. Touchups are done with a $50 set up fee**
