Sliding scale offered to Black clients on request

What forms of payment do you take?

Cash preferred in all cases. Card accepted with additional fees ( 10.25% sales tax + 3.5% processing fee) . No Venmo, Paypal or Zelle at this time.

am I required to have a consultation for custom work?

I generally take care of most of my questions during the initial email back and forth, but for most custom pieces, I ask that we schedule a consultation 1 month prior to your initial appointment. The reason for this is so I can have your ideas and concept fresh in my creative mind when I go to draw your piece. This also gives us a good opportunity to check in about any changes since your initial inquiry.

I require all large pieces ( such as sleeves, chest, back, neck) or tricky placements ( such as knee, elbow, or face) to come in for an in-person consultation. All other consultations are done via phone.

Session Preparation

What can I do to prepare for my session?

You want to make sure that you:

       + Are well-rested & have showered

+ Are hydrated ( bring a water bottle)

,       + Have eaten a good meal no more than 2-3 hours before your appointment ( ideally a meal, not a small snack - if you are not a morning eater, please schedule an appointment later in the day)

+Do not come to the session hung over or under the influence.

+Please refrain from taking any pain medication unless prescribed for a medical condition

Can I use a numbing Cream beforehand?

Of course! All I ask is that you check in with me before doing so. This way, I can give you the best advice on how to apply it, give you guidance for how I prefer you wrap it, and other info. I also prefer to know that you’re using it, in advance.

I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment if a numbing agent is applied before your arrival without my consent.

can I see my tattoo design before my appointment? I'm uncertain about it.

No. I do not send drawings or sketches before your appointment. Period. If you are coming to me for a tattoo, this means that you like my artistic taste/style enough to trust me to make you a rad tattoo! I also factor in the first 30 minutes of your appointment to go over the design to make sure you’re happy with it.

If you’ve scheduled an All-Day or 2-Day session, you can request as many sketches as you want! My ADHD brain will forget to send them to you without being asked, so just shoot me an email!

Can you tattoo over scars?

I can absolutely tattoo over scars - I usually will ask for you to come into the studio so I can take a look at the size/depth of the scar and determine the best course of action. Scars must be fully healed before we can tattoo the skin. Please keep in mind that tattooing does not alter the texture of the skin so if your scar is deep you will still be able to tell where it is, although it will be less obvious. I may refer you out if I believe my skillset does not match what is required to cover your scar.

do you do tattoo coverups? **

Tattoos can be covered, but not all. For coverups, I generally will ask for you to come into the studio so we can talk options and I can take well-lit photos of the tattoo to be covered. Some coverups may require multiple sessions. If you are unable to travel to the studio we will discuss options.. I may refer you out if I believe my skillset does not match what is required to cover your tattoo.

Do you offer touchups?

I do offer touchups, for a $50 setup fee. This cost just covers my basic expense for setting up for the touchup. I used to offer free touchups, but with the rising cost of materials, I have implemented this cost.
